Appearance: Tall and intimidating man standing more than six feet tall. long, smooth black hair,eyes and has oddly pale skin. Does not look very old if one were to first see him. Wears a golden amulet around his neck all the time. His Captains uniform is colored black with red stripes, the division number also red.
Personality: Zephyrin is a stern and serious man but can be outgoing in some instances. He is forgiving but will not tolerate treason and will kill anyone if they turn against him. He tries to show as little emotion as possible, not to say he cannot in any way. Is very obedient and loyal to his cause. In combat he becomes a very frightening foe due to his general lack of fear and ability to not show pain outwardly.
Likes/Dislikes:
Zephyrin likes human food and gloomy/rainy days. He prefers being left in peace and being able to think. When someone performs well in action he is usually the first to congratulate them. He hates too much pride or anyone who disobeys his or anyone elses orders as well as too much sunlight or talkative and annoying people.
Powers:
Zephyrin has a jet black Zanpakto that is mid sized and serrated at the end while in unreleased form. When released another identical one splits off from the original making two weapons. In Bankai it becomes a large katana which emits black fire from it, being incredibly sharp. He knows very few hado and close to no Bakudo spells. I'll get further into detail in the powers area.
Other than this, he is so tough he doesn't even feel most wounds that afflict him, barely reacting although the body is still wounded. This makes him not only a powerful opponent but also very intimidating to see him barely react to most attacks. Again, keep in mind that he still is physically hurt by them. While his hand to hand and swordsmanship skills are powerful they generally are inaccurate so he can defend better. His speed is generally above average and he is quite proficient in Shunpo.

Zephyrin obviously has a long history based on his age. In it, he first began as a street fighter in the Rukongai. He proved immensely tough and weak strikes nearly bounced off of him. He was soon recognized for his skills and went through Academy, passing with flying colors. After this he was inducted into the tenth division and remained in service for a substantial amount of time until the Vandenreich struck and took nearly everything from him. He was made the new captain after a while and became very powerful. Able to withstand colossal damage and outfight nearly any opponent.

Rain had been prevelant this time of year. It covered the entire area in a blanket of water which fell from the grey clouds above onto the treeline of a vast frontier full of the ever present pine trees that this particular area would have. A dull sound of thunder occasionally resounded throughout the area, the ground shaking incomprehensibly as the sky did the same.
Zephyrin stood on top of an elevated hill and observed the phenomena blandly.
You don't see this in the Soul Society...
He thought to himself, becoming lost in thought as usual before a more loud bit of thunder snapped him out.
"Don't let the peace of this place deceive you. It could be as dangerous as Hueco Mundo if you aren't careful."
He told one of the other Shinigami he sent to survey the area with him.
"So what are we doing here, sir?" One of them asked, obviously confused.
Zephyrin smiled ever so slightly.
"That's for you to decide."
