Personality: Akahito’s experiences during the Quincy war has made him cautious, and suicidal to some. Akahito has been known to throw himself at his enemies in order to protect others. He’s become isolated, but a well respected Captain.
Likes/Dislikes: Sushi is his favorite dish and seems to almost always be eating some. He hates anything that could cloud his judgement, whether it be alcohol or drugs. He hates to kill and if anything, would rather subdue his opponent.
Powers: Akahito’s Spirit Weapon is a small circular shield that can expand, playing off his desire to protect others. He only has to focus to expand his shield or move it so it can protect others or even attack with it.

History (150 words): Akahito was a commander during the second Quincey War, under Captain Tiamoshi Tatamiya. His group was responsible for the initial attack which did not end well. After the death of Tatamiya and half the squad, his group was forced to retreat. The retreat was nearly a failure until Akahito put himself in between him and his squad. He bought them time to retreat before barely escaping with his own life.
Upon returning to the mortal realm, Akahito was promoted to Captain for his bravery and accomplishments. After which, Akahito became an outspoken activist to the war, but reluctantly followed in order to save who he could. During the war, many called him “The Defender” as he protected many as wounded were removed from the field.
After the end of the war, he became recluse. To this day, he’s respected among many Quincey and even Shinigami whom he had saved during the war as well as best he could. He refuses to kill as he had seen much death in his time.
