The Application Process
Step One - Read the Rules & RP Info
Having a basic understanding of the site's rules and the mechanics of the RP will go a long way towards you being successful on this RP. The Rules page contains the standards that every player is held to on this site. The RP Info page leads to a list of guides on the various mechanical aspects of the site, such as character building, combat, and using Soul Shards.
Once you have a basic understanding of this information, you can move onto the next step.
Step Two - Character Application
The second step is filling out your Character Application. Choose the template copy the code, start a new thread and fill it out. This application serves two purposes. Number one, it's an introduction and basic information about your character. Number two, it includes an RP sample section, where you will include a sample of your writing. This will help us determine if you will be a good match for this site, and how much help you will need in the future (as we are accepting of new RPs, and want to mold them.)
Step Three - Soul Shards, Powers, & Abilities
Once your character has been accepted, your application will be moved to the Character Profile section and you will get posting privileges on the members part of the site. Your character will receive a base number of Soul Shards, depending on your application, which you can spend towards building your character. You can do this by posting in the Character Progression forum. Keep in mind, before you start RPing, it's important to handle the mechanical aspects of your character. Creating a thread in the Powers & Abilities section will be the start of that. You can flesh out your Parameters, Powers, and Abilities, and await a moderator to approve them.
Once approved you are good to go! Start RPing, collecting Soul Shards, and getting powerful.
